Autoworker, Fellow Laborers (Laborer Friends): What we witness today, is an insult to the intelligence of the people, and disregard for their votes, the trampling of the principles of the Constitution by the government. It is our duty to join this people's movement.

We the workers of Iran Khodro, Thursday 28/3/88 in each working shift will stop working for half an hour to protest the suppression of students, workers, women, and the Constitution and declare our solidarity with the movement of the people of Iran. The morning and afternoon shifts from 10 to 10:30. The night shift from 3 to 3:30.

Now that the union of workers organisation has interfered and know the political activities as a lawful right of any individual of the society, therefore the workers all over iran have the ability to chose whether to vote or not by handing the workers charter for the candidates of the chairman of republic.It is clear to everyone that individuals in iran care about the problems not only for themselves but for everyone, and we in the past years have said that until there is a real form of freedom then thinking about individuals lawful rights and social rights are more like a joke.Therefore because of this issue the union of workers organisation is seeing itself to support all those who are now fighting for individual rights and freedom, and is willing to stand up against all the attacks and harassments.In order to make the lawful rights of individuals formal, therefore 5th of tir ( Persian Calendar ) is known as the national day of supporting imprisoned workers in iran. We are asking everyone to look at this day an important cause and much more important than their own right, and we want them to make this day as the day of human rights in iran. For the same reason we are asking our everyone to support us throughout the world on this specific day and stand up and protect the lawful rights of those people in iran.

>>>Mostafa ghanian's body, an engineering student, was burried on thursday with a high security at the Imam reza shrine. the security guards, at the time of mostafa's death, had kept his family uninformed. they delievered mostafas body and asked his family to sign a commitment before they could have the body. in this funeral which took place with the participation of many people and his family, none of the students were present. it is important to say that this student ( mostafa ) had gone up to the roof of his house after hearing the sound og gun fire and shootings in order to see what has happened, and therefore is shot dead by the BASIJ powers.
