I'm an American and I know America has not always lived up to its own ideals and has certainly meddled in Iran's affairs, so I have no advice or desire to tell anyone what to do, but about all I can say is wow.

The courage being displayed by the people of Iran as they stand up and fight injustice is almost beyond words. While there is much ugliness coming out of these recent events, the beauty of the human spirit is also being displayed and it's wearing green. I hope the will of the people prevails. Allahu Akbar

Internet Explorer:

Firefox:

You are my heros and inspiration. l am a lazy worthless american who has never thought much about my freedom until seeing the pictures and videos of all you brave men and women going into the streets unarmed, knowing that your opponents have guns and other weapons--it truly brings tears to my eyes. You are the most incredible people in the world. l wish l could be there by your sides, my brothers and sisters. l would at this moment gladly give my life to support your cause if there was some way that would help. All the free people of the world are watching you, staying up all night for reports of what is happening in your country. Keep fighting the good fight! The oppressors cannot resist your brave efforts forever! Oh, how l wish l could get into your country right now and be by your sides and march and sing with you. Your chanting throughout the night makes my heart weep with gladness! l find myself at times, as l watch your videos, quietly saying the words "Allahu Akhbar" in unison with your shouts. l am thinking of all of you every minute of every day. YOUR ACTIONS AND YOUR WORDS ARE INSPIRING EVERY PERSON IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU ALL WITH ALL OF MY HEART FOR WHAT YOU ARE DOING. Don't give up until you get what you're fighting for. Alone we are weak, but together we are stronger than the bullets they shoot. Allahu Akbar!

I wear green for you and constantly monitor Twitter, and now this blog. I am an American veteran from the Iraq war, and am very proud of the courage and pride the Iranians are showing in the face of your dictator. I pray for your victory, and will help in any way I can. Just put it out on Twitter, Facebook, or here. Allah Akhbar! Stay strong!

The women of Iran are indeed Lionesses (CNN).

Their bravery is spectacular.

The whole world holds you high.

Iranian men do you know what you have got?

Women of valour - Warriors and Queens.

It's time to get this sucker organized!
Make a plan, learn about a few basic tactics.

The police are only strong when they out number the crowd - this means you can defeat them...

This country is yours - and the world wants your freedom and friendship.

Shame on religious leaders who kill rather than listen.

They are responsible for the blood that flows.

They are a disgrace to humanity.

Greed and lust for power is a dark pit filled with vipers.

Yet the light of Iran shines through all that putrid fake religious mentality that can't accept any other point of view.

Brave Iranian people, I admire and respect your courage and your desire for democracy and freedom. But getting killed is not the solution. Martyrdom is a sad waste of human potential. Your government is despicable, and you have exposed it as the fraud that it truly is. It will collapse of it's own bloated weight. Oppose it, yes. Fight it's corruption and its illegitimacy, yes. But not in the streets. Not when you are armed with rocks and are facing the heart piercing bullets of sniper's rifles. I believe that I speak for most Americans when I say that we do not hate the Iranian people. Most Americans only want to live in peace. We do mistrust the Islamist regimes and organizations who seem determined to portray us as the source of evil in the world. We wish you well, we sincerely hope you find peace in your world, safety in your homes and prosperity. Political change is a process. It requires diligence, and patience. It requires fighting - not only in the streets, when the blood is stirred - but in offices, meetings, politic strategy sessions, when cool, calculation is required. And finally, political change requires people... passionate people, committed people, intelligent people, and most of all people who are not martyrs, but who are alive. You have already needlessly lost too many. Go home, be safe, so that you can fight on tomorrow.
