>>> Supporters of the main election challenger to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad clashed with police and set up barricades of burning tires today as authorities declared the hard-line president was re-elected in a landslide. Opponents responded with the most serious unrest in the capital in a decade and charges that the result was the work of a "dictatorship."
Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, closed the door on any chance he could use his limitless powers to intervene in the disputes from Friday's election. In a message on state TV, he urged the nation to unite behind Ahmadinejad, calling the result a "divine assessment."
>>>Thousands of angry people have massed in Tehran to protest at the election result, with some pelting stones at baton-wielding police."Down with the dictator!" shouted the crowd as they streamed into one of the capital's main squares after latest results showed incumbent hardliner Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had secured a landslide win.
Hundreds of other people also gathered near the interior ministry in central Tehran, shouting: "Death to the dictator!"
A furious mob threw stones at police who hit back with sticks to try to disperse demonstrators gathered around central Tehran's Vanak Square.Protesters, including women, were also hit with sticks in Tehran's Valiasr Street as riot police on motorbikes moved in to break up a gathering outside Mr Mousavi's office.

A photograph of the Iranian president holding up his identity card during elections in March 2008 clearly shows his family has Jewish roots. A close-up of the document reveals he was previously known as Sabourjian – a Jewish name meaning cloth weaver. The short note scrawled on the card suggests his family changed its name to Ahmadinejad when they converted to embrace Islam after his birth. The Sabourjians traditionally hail from Aradan, Mr Ahmadinejad's birthplace, and the name derives from "weaver of the Sabour", the name for the Jewish Tallit shawl in Persia. The name is even on the list of reserved names for Iranian Jews compiled by Iran's Ministry of the Interior. Experts last night suggested Mr Ahmadinejad's track record for hate-filled attacks on Jews could be an overcompensation to hide his past.
Ali Nourizadeh, of the Centre for Arab and Iranian Studies, said: "This aspect of Mr Ahmadinejad's background explains a lot about him. "Every family that converts into a different religion takes a new identity by condemning their old faith. "By making anti-Israeli statements he is trying to shed any suspicions about his Jewish connections. He feels vulnerable in a radical Shia society." A London-based expert on Iranian Jewry said that "jian" ending to the name specifically showed the family had been practising Jews. "He has changed his name for religious reasons, or at least his parents had," said the Iranian-born Jew living in London. "Sabourjian is well known Jewish name in Iran."
A spokesman for the Israeli embassy in London said it would not be drawn on Mr Ahmadinejad's background. "It's not something we'd talk about," said Ron Gidor, a spokesman. The Iranian leader has not denied his name was changed when his family moved to Tehran in the 1950s. But he has never revealed what it was change from or directly addressed the reason for the switch. Relatives have previously said a mixture of religious reasons and economic pressures forced his blacksmith father Ahmad to change when Mr Ahmadinejad was aged four. The Iranian president grew up to be a qualified engineer with a doctorate in traffic management. He served in the Revolutionary Guards militia before going on to make his name in hardline politics in the capital. During this year's presidential debate on television he was goaded to admit that his name had changed but he ignored the jibe.
However Mehdi Khazali, an internet blogger, who called for an investigation of Mr Ahmadinejad's roots was arrested this summer. Mr Ahmadinejad has regularly levelled bitter criticism at Israel, questioned its right to exist and denied the Holocaust. British diplomats walked out of a UN meeting last month after the Iranian president denounced Israel's 'genocide, barbarism and racism.' Benjamin Netanyahu made an impassioned denunciation of the Iranian leader at the same UN summit. "Yesterday, the man who calls the Holocaust a lie spoke from this podium," he said. "A mere six decades after the Holocaust, you give legitimacy to a man who denies the murder of six million Jews while promising to wipe out the State of Israel, the State of the Jews. What a disgrace. What a mockery of the charter of the United Nations." Mr Ahmadinejad has been consistently outspoken about the Nazi attempt to wipe out the Jewish race. "They have created a myth today that they call the massacre of Jews and they consider it a principle above God, religions and the prophets," he declared at a conference on the holocaust staged in Tehran in 2006.

Typically, what makes the traditional weight-loss process so much harder is the fact that we need food to survive. If we deny ourselves of some thing, principally food, that simply makes us want it all the more. Cravings could build and build until a bout of comfort or binge eating distroys our weight loss plans. This is why over 98% of traditional diets fail. pure green coffee extract The most essential advice anyone can give you is that seeing weight loss surgery as a solution is a wrong type of approach. Weight loss surgery is a first step and it must mark the beginning of a new life characterized by a new value system. A healthy diet and a well-designed exercise plan are inherent parts of any successful weight loss journey. Kevin Williams disclosed today that he had lost 37 pounds during his monthlong hospitalization for complications of a throat infection that spread to his heart and lungs. In fact it can become very complicated because of the different calorie weights of different foods. Vegetarian Weight Loss Tips on HydrationDon't blindly follow what others say about drinking 8 glasses or 2 liters of water. You know your body best. Observe your urine at all times. If it goes yellow, you need more water. If it turns clear or pale yellow, then you should stop drinking excessive water to avoid water poisoning hyponatremia.
Take a closer look. Many food labels tell you how many calories are in a serving, but people often skip the part that tells them how many servings are in a package. Lots of convenient-sized packages actually have two or three servings: this includes a bag of chips; a snack bar package that may have two bars; a vending machine packet of cookies; a small can of tuna; even a bottle of a soft drink like green tea! The label will scream "ONLY 50 CALORIES" on the front in big letters, but turn the package over and read the back where it says 'servings per container' and read that there are 2.7 servings within this one container that you were planning on finishing in one sitting. Diets that produce very fast weight loss are usually not for long-term use. Starvation or fad diets should last a short period of time. A lack of good nutrition can lead to permanent health problems. You can lose a large amount of weight quickly with these diets which may give you the will power to continue your weight loss efforts when you change to a more nutritionally sound type of diet. Your health is the most important consideration when choosing a diet plan or product. See your doctor before starting a weight loss program. Messing up the metabolismIt is true that weight loss pills may help you lose all the weight you want, they are powerful hunger suppressants, or stimulants, and your body will react to this assault. One dangerous consequence is the habit forming of metabolism to work less on its own, and to depend more on the pills. This means that your weight loss rate will be affected and reduced in time, and there is a high possibility to put back the weight, once you give up the pills, as your metabolism becomes lazy. We Green Coffee Bean Extract Last year, 18 million prescriptions were written for ''fen-phen,'' as the diet pill combination of fenfluramine and phentermine is known. Yet the F. D. A. is restricted in its ability to regulate these drugs because, by a quirk in the law, fen-phen was never approved in the first place. The pill combination is considered ''off label'': a new use of drugs that had earlier been individually approved for different purposes. http://greencoffeetime.net/
