Dear Cristina,
Thank you for your email. Amnesty International is extremely concerned by the situation in Iran and the reports of human rights violations we have received. We have been, and continue to be, very active in our response to these events. However, Amnesty International does not take a position on elections or Iranian politics. Our concerns are related to human rights violations, specifically excessive use of force and arbitrary arrest, including arrests of prisoners of conscience, and restrictions on freedom of expression, association and assembly. We are attaching below links to documents Amnesty International has produced in response to events in Iran.
