Protests Continue...

  • Amir Javadifar (1984-2009)student of industrial management in Azad university of Qazvin city who was arrested on July 9th and during the people protest demonstration after announcing Ahmadinejad as a president ,died under torture in prison.He had injuries in his hand and nose before getting arrested.This news was published in Etemad-e Melli newspaper for the first time


Ali Javadifar Langaroudi after his child death wrote:"Now and I am sending this letter they called me from Evin prison and said come and take your loved-one body.This has to be mentioned that my son was beaten up by plain-clothes around Amirabad area on July 9th and was bedridden in hospital , but after getting healed transferred to Evin prison and now they are delivering me my 24-year-old son's body.My son Amir Javadifar Langaroudi was away from political events and just was in love with his country,he was very polite and calm who had lost his mother recently and was weepy because of that.Now I have to set his funeral alone and there is not even a mother to cry for him"

As far as I can see the level of freedom in Iran is just amazing! In any democratic Western country these people demonstarating in the streeets would be immediately water cannoned, clubbed and TASERed. Then many of them arrested, charged with disordely behaviour, breach of peace, destruction of property and arson. Then judged and sentenced to heavy fines or imprisonment or both. And some people do die in "police custody" in Western democracies as well.

looks like he has never lived under such sircumstances, not like me that they killed my 12 your old brother by bombing my house in 1980 after thair bloody revolution and arresting and killing my father 9 months after ward within 7days of his arrest.he was tortured and vanished later on..they said there was a mistake my mother died few years after having several breakdown.i have been away from my iran for 23 years i cant wait to go back and make this regime pay 4 what theyve been doing to our people for 30 year
